Adele Aron Greenspun

Daddies

Almost more touching than the images and brief, smooth-flowing text is the author's reason for producing the book. Her own father died (to whom she was devoted) the day she left for summer camp when she was eleven, but her mother didn't tell her. She spent the summer writing letters and crafting a blue box for him. This volume of remembrances a way of easing the pain, a present to him, which she passes on to readers. Young and old will discover a joy in studying the faces and catching the glow that radiates between sons and daughters and dads.
